Today I finished off my training with a tour of the Vancouver Olympic Centre...where the curling is being held. I think I might have been the only one who didn't put up their hand when they asked who knew something about curling...ugh! The last time I curled was in grade 11 gym class back in the 80's... How much could have changed since then? I hope there aren't any tests or I'll be fired before I even start!
Interesting facts about the curling venue...
-Curling is the only Olympic event that has a smoking pit for the athletes...
-Curling is the only venue that has their liquor licence starting at 8am...
-And check out the washroom with their up for liquid, down for other....
