Day 9

The last two days have been my own personal Olympic Marathon... Getting up at 4:30am...leaving the house at 5am...walking 20 blocks uphill to the Vancouver Olympic Centre...dodging early morning street people looking for cigarettes...standing for hours, saying good morning no less than 150 times, then walking home to drop into bed...And I've never had such a good time!!! And I get to see Norway skip Thomas Ulsrud in his funky pants up close...(are you jealous Esme?)

Just when I'm about to fall asleep and my blog was heading downhill anyways....in walks Ally volunteering to guest blog...

Hi I'm Ally, daughter of Marion (guest blogger from day 5). Today I went to Live City Vancouver! It had a giant screen showing the Hockey game (Men's Canada V.S. Switzerland). Live City is nice, they tried to make it extra fun for kids, and they had two of the olympic mascots there (Miga and Quatci)but I must say it was mainly for the big screen. Half way through the game we head over to Moxies which was really nice. Oh my goodness there was a crazy amount of cheering, it got so intence! When it went into overtime,the crowd was going crazy! SOOOOO much fun! And when the game was over and Canada had one in the shootout, it was true pandimonium! So So So exciting, there were people cheering and chanting and waving flags around! Yikes! In robson square the Zip line has an over 5 hour wait! Really is it worth it? If any of you guys went on the Zipline, PLEASE comment if it was worth the wait? Well I have to go to bed now. I am so tired from my exciting fun filled day. P.S Way to go Canada!!!
